Standard Troops

When diplomacy is not an option, kingdoms settle their disputes on the battlefield. Battalions of hundreds of soldiers clash in unforgettable skirmishes, turning forests and fields into mass graveyards in the name of their king. Strategy and tactics are everything in battle, and for countless ages militaries have been improving upon the roles and outfittings that their armies employ.

Troop-scale combat: The following characters are ‘troop scale.’ That means a single stat block does not represent one person. Instead, a single stat block represents an entire group of soldiers. Battlefields for these soldiers would have zones as large, army-sized swaths of land. See yesterday’s Sundry Sunday (#44) for an example of a potential battlefield.
